🍅 🍋 The Soil-X-Change Project, through its partner AMBIENTA, is driving a network in Spain focused on soil health in both agricultural and forestry sectors. In 2024, two meetings of the S-X-C National Node in Spain took place: the first, on July 5, served as an introduction to the initial 10 operational groups, and in the second, on October 4, members discussed the challenges and strategies for transitioning to organic fertilization practices aimed at soil conservation and regeneration, replacing inorganic fertilizers with natural organic compounds. 📍 The logistical challenges of this shift—including costs, farmer mindset, farm sizes, crop yields, and efficient plan designs—were some of the topics addressed. The network, currently comprised of groups and innovative projects such as Ecopraderas, Hidrolivar, Carboagri, Cereal Agua, ClimaForest, Risos, Alagón Grasslands, Cultivando Agua, Innolivar, and Oleo Mitiga, is open to welcoming new groups and projects interested in sharing best practices and results to improve soil health in Spain. ➡ Funded by the European Union #soilxchange #soilfertility #soilhealth #sustainablefarming

⚪ 🔴 Soil-X-Change Workshop in Poland 🌾 During annual „Operational Groups’ Congress” organised by Agricultural Advisory Centre (5-7th of November) we had a chance to get to know all the SoilXChange OGs’ representatives. It was a first time for Groups to talk live and share the details of their projects. We also discussed all Soil-X-Change objectives and get to know some new details about the dashboard. Moreover, we took a chance to inform wider audience (more then 200 participants) about SoilXChange project and its expected results. Organized by AgriSens-DEMMIN 4.0, DigiMix-PA, and Soil-X-Change, the event brought together farmers, researchers, and industry professionals to explore the latest advancements in digital agriculture.
