Milestone achieved at the Carriageworks Residential Development We’re delighted to share that we’ve topped out Building C1 after just 11 months, the first of eight blocks. Once complete, the development will offer 508 studios and one-bed units, 179 two-bed apartments, and 15 three-bed apartments, with an 18-storey landmark tower. Green cranes on the Emerald Isle! 💚 Two of our tower cranes are currently in use on two major construction sites of our partner John Paul Construction. The Harcourt Square office complex is being built in the heart of Dublin (Ireland). Several of our EC-B cranes and one EC-H crane are working freestanding or are installed in the elevator shaft. Several EC-B, EC-H and HC-L cranes are currently working on the construction of the Castleforbes apartment blocks in Dublin's Docklands. These include our 370 EC-B 16 Fibre, the first fibre rope crane in Ireland. Our Tower Crane Solutions project department was able to support the planning of the construction sites in particular through close co-operation. Our World Quality Week (WQW) Speaker Series continued with insightful sessions across three projects this week. On Tuesday, we visited our Med-Tech project in Kilkenny, where Site Engineer Oscar Young presented a comparative case study on the use of integrated survey equipment in earthworks. His presentation highlighted the benefits of adopting new tools and innovations to drive our journey from Quality Compliance to Quality Performance. On Wednesday, the series moved to our first mainland Europe data centre project in Frankfurt. Kevin Becker Ramos, our Project Quality Lead, shared insights into the differences between working in Germany versus Ireland. He emphasised how we’ve successfully introduced the John Paul Way to our German supply chain, leveraging the best practices from both regions to ensure that this milestone project brings Quality from Compliance to Performance. During the visit, our Quality Manager, Claire Cox, joined the site team for their daily inspections, supporting them in verifying the accuracy of blockwork positioning, plumb, and level. On Thursday, we wrapped up our Speaker Series at another data centre project, this time just breaking ground in Drogheda. The newly formed team, with diverse backgrounds and experience, came together to discuss their Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) development and how they will leverage these tools to bring Quality from Compliance to Performance right from the project’s outset. #WQW24 #WorldQualityWeek #BuildingExcellence #QualityInConstruction #JohnPaulConstruction #GoFurtherBuildSmarter

Today is World Diabetes Day, and we are delighted to be supporting Diabetes Ireland through our Step Challenge over the course of November. Just under 200 people from across the company are taking part in the challenge, with great competition developing between the teams. Today, to mark World Diabetes Day, walks took place on sites and at our offices. In Ireland, there are approximately 191,000 people living with the diabetes, and worldwide, this figure reaches a staggering 537 million adults. Diabetes Ireland is the only national charity in Ireland dedicated to helping people with diabetes. This week, we are delighted to be taking part in World Quality Week (11th - 15th November) and shining a spotlight on the theme: “Quality: From Compliance to Performance”. Yesterday we kicked off our Speaker Series with a presentation by our Project Quality Lead, Bruna Alves, and MEP Lead Domnic Barr on a Med-Tech project in Galway. Both spoke about how we continually to strive to bring Quality from Compliance to Performance.
