That's right! University College Dublin pre-service teachers and alumni (graduated within the last five years) with a #STEM specialism may be eligible to do a PAID summer internship in 2025. The goal is for educators to use practical skills from uni and gain valuable experience in industry to enhance knowledge of STEM applications, deepen understanding of various STEM careers/career pathways, and expand network of professionals that support youth interest in STEM and goal to pursue a STEM profession. STInt's own Eilish McLoughlin and Stephen Gammell will be running a virtual event, 'Why Do We Have Seasons?' on Monday, December 9th at 6-8pm. The event is an opportunity to explore investigations for developing students' understanding of earth and space. You will even be mailed a kit with tools to develop curricula for primary science, junior cycle science earth and space strands or transition year astronomy modules.
