  • The final day of our Corporate and Commercial London Law trip brought us to DLA Piper, where we wrapped up a fantastic week in the capital! A huge thank you to Kathleen Ross for organising the day and to Sana Butt for looking after us so well. It was a privilege to meet UCD alumnus Vincent Keaveny CBE who shared his experiences and spent time connecting with the group. The day also featured a fantastic panel discussion with trainees from DLA Piper’s Irish office who gave us valuable insights into their career journeys and experiences. This was followed by a lively networking session that allowed our students to ask questions and build connections. A heartfelt thank you to all the firms, alumni, and professionals who made this week so impactful. We look forward to seeing how the insights gained on this trip inspire our students as they embark on their own legal careers. #ucdcareers #law #careerdevelopment #recruitment #london

  • It's time for a recap on day 3️⃣ of the Corporate and Commercial London Law trip 🎡 The group began the day at Hogan Lovells where the students participated in an engaging schedule that included a trainee Q&A panel and a negotiation skills workshop. Many thanks to Jasmine Uppal for organising such a valuable experience! In the afternoon, we visited Goodwin Law where students learned about the firm, their available opportunities, the application process and heard tips on how to make a move to London. It was particularly special to connect with Aisling Billington (UCD alumna) who shared her own career journey. It was a rewarding day of networking and learning as the trip continues to inspire the group to explore opportunities in commercial law.
