"Mentoring is a brain to pick, an ear to listen, and a push in the right direction.” — John Crosby As part of Project Legacy 2.0, I had the incredible opportunity to mentor rural students at Girls Zilla Parishad High School-Sadasivpet, Telangana This initiative aims to bridge the gap between university students and children in Government Schools, particularly in rural areas, empowering students and promoting societal progress. Stepping into the classrooms filled me with responsibility and excitement, knowing I could make a positive impact on these young minds. At Girls Zilla Parishad High School, I observed a thirst for knowledge among the students and a determination to excel despite facing various challenges. As their mentors, my team consisting of Chris Jose, Ananya Vardhini Surasani, and Ankith kumar Sara provided essential Life Skills and encouragement to help them navigate their educational journey and beyond. It was inspiring to witness how they embraced new ideas, reaffirming my belief in the transformative power of education. Reflecting on my time at Girls Zilla Parishad High School I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a part of these student's lives, even briefly. I'm confident, that the inspiration which we planted will guide them toward endless possibilities. I extend my deep appreciation to Sudhan Guru sir and Alolika Dutta Roy ma'am for their invaluable support and guidance, shaping me into a more effective mentor and leader. This is the first of my pieces on #Architecture. This piece explores that "Architecture is not just form and function" but something more. Several inspirations catered to this piece, one being Woxsen University's #brutalist design. I read several pieces on this in Architectural Digest India and Architectural Digest on whether #brutalist #design has reached saturation by Sarah Archer and many more. Trends are shifting from #minimalism to #maximalism not just in #fashion but in #Architecture too. Researching, I found out the new possible trend in Architectural design could be #organicbrutalism and I dared to write a piece on an area in which I didn't have much expertise. It took a lot of research and reading. It was fun though.
