The Trento-Innsbruck Quantum Information Tour is a one-week winter school (16-22 February 2025), in which you will attend lectures and seminars on the latest developments in quantum technologies, meet experts in the academic and industrial field, as well as visit state-of-the-art labs of the universities of Trento (IT) and Innsbruck (AT) and companies nearby. Application is encouraged for students enrolled in their third year of Undergraduate degree or in a Master’s degree. Here’s a glimpse of what the final day of the CASSINI Hackathon was like: tension, focus, and a ton of excitement! After a long challenge culminating in the final pitches, the winners of the Hackathon were selected by a jury composed of esteemed personalities from the world of business, innovation, and technology. Taking first place is OMNI Fl-AI with an innovative idea for using satellite data to ensure safe navigation even in GNSS-denied environments. #Nostradamus secures second place with a groundbreaking project utilizing data from major constellations to prevent space collisions between satellites and space debris. Finally, #RAYSILIENCE claims a close third place with their idea to enhance and optimize aeronautical navigation. But this isn’t the end for CASSINI: today, the winning team from the Italian delegation, OMNI Fl-AI, will face the winners from other delegations in an all-European challenge!
