On Friday, November 22, 2024, at IMA Coffee Lab, the official presentation of the third edition of the Guide of Italian Coffees and Roasteries 2024-25 took place, along with the awarding of the Roastery and Product Awards 2024-2025, which recognize Italian coffees and roasteries that stand out for quality and excellence. It was an honor to host this event and celebrate Italian coffee excellence together. IMA's commitment to supporting the coffee supply chain was demonstrated through the organization of a conference designed to provide an updated overview of the industry, addressing highly relevant and current topics. The conference, titled "The Sustainability of Coffee: challenges and opportunities for roasteries within ethics, regulations, and innovation incentives", moderated by Nicola Panzani, CEO of IMA Petroncini and Sales Director of IMA Coffee Hub, along with Andrej Godina and Mauro Illiano, curators of the Camaleonte - Guida dei caffè e delle torrefazioni d’Italia, was a particularly significant moment of discussion for the coffee sector. A special thank you to the speakers for sharing their experience and vision, enriching our discussion on the future of Italian coffee: Emanuele Musini, Coffee Market Expert and CEO of RoastMasterCapital, marina de cristofaro, Account Manager at Value Target, Eleonora Gelmini, Technical Consultant at Value Target, Michelangelo Parro, Head of Product Management at IMA Petroncini, Manuel Marcelli, Managing Director at ReiCat Solutions Italia, Emanuele Simonini, Packaging Materials Technologist at IMA OPENLab. With the participation of key institutions and industry ambassadors, the event was a unique opportunity to conclude the year by celebrating Italian roasteries and fostering the debate on innovations and sustainability strategies shaping the future of coffee.
