When I was a kid I collected gag cartoons by various gag artists and pasted them in scrapbooks. One of the best was Gallagher. Which Gallagher was it though? There were two cartoonists of that name, brothers, John Gallagher and George [Gately] Gallagher. I think this is John Gallagher. George Gately had two great comic strips, the short-lived "Hapless Harry" and the much more successful "Heathcliff."
