Together with our esteemed partner The Kenya Association For Certified Training Providers For Industry (KACET), over the next 3 months, we are excited to share the stories of hundreds of young artisans (male and female) across different counties in Kenya who through the FUNDIS APP have been assessed, upskilled, certified, improved and matched with fair work through our in-country initiative dubbed IngiaBiz https://lnkd.in/dfPZXNFX.
We are truly grateful to Challenge Fund for Youth Employment, KURIA CAPITAL, and Kaleo Ventures for making our vision of a functional informal sector in Kenya a reality through their investment and technical assistance. Over the last 6 months, we have had the unique privilege of receiving investment and top-notch learning science support from iHUB Nairobi Mastercard Foundation (Mastercard Foundation Edtech Fellowship) as part of Kenya's Cohort 2 where we recently during Demo Day showcased our newly digitalized artisanal skills assessment and upskilling to scale beyond our initial 5 pilot counties over the next 5 years.
We are very grateful to our collaborative partners Maisha Poa Fortune credit ECLOF Kenya for reshaping the future of Kenya's Informal Sector Skilled Trades and Professions through an innovative pathway that will enable millions of artisanal and technical workers to access insurance and credit at the single tap of a button for economic resilience and prosperity.
