Uthabiti Africa
Civic and Social Organizations
The African childcare market facilitator and ecosystem builder for Africa,
About us
Uthabiti Africa is childcare market facilitator and childcare ecosystem builder for Africa. We work with state and non-state actors to accelerate quality, affordable childcare for all. Our work focuses on the socio-economic empowerment of the predominantly female childcare workforce; childcare policy and regulatory reform; foundational literacy as well as maternal and child health. Our work started in Kenya in 2019, where we have build a solid foundation as the leading childcare-focused agency. Across the board, we are building partnerships across cultures and boundaries to implement bold solutions that bring people and organisations together. In 2024, we are expanding our work to Malawi, Ghana, Uganda and Ethiopia, while continuing to explore opportunities for further collaborative action.
