The seabed of Lithuania's Baltic Sea is being explored more thoroughly than ever before! In preparation for the country’s first offshore wind farms, Ignitis Renewables conducts groundbreaking geotechnical studies. The collected seabed samples will contribute to sustainable energy growth and be a valuable resource for Lithuania's scientific community. These samples will be stored at the geological archive. #EnergySmart #IgnitisRenewables #CuronianNord

To prepare for emergencies, a fire drill was held at the Vilnius Combined Heat and Power Plant. 37 firefighters, 6 fire engines, and Vilnius CHP employees participated. The exercise simulated fires in a waste transport, a bunker, a biofuel warehouse, and an administration building, from which firefighters rescued trapped people. This exercise once again showed how important it is to be prepared –knowing what to do can ensure everyone's safety. #EnergySmart
