     Reverend Griffith Boynton was born on 4 November 1815.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Boynton, 9th Bt. and Mary Gray.1 He married Selina Watkins, daughter of William Watkins, on 1 October 1840. He died on 19 May 1898 at age 82.1
     He was the Rector between 1860 and 1898 at Barmston, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1

     Selina Watkins was born before 1825. She was the daughter of William Watkins.1 She married Reverend Griffith Boynton, son of Sir Henry Boynton, 9th Bt. and Mary Gray, on 1 October 1840. She died in 1896.
     Her married name became Boynton.

     Sir Henry Boynton, 9th Bt. was born posthumously on 22 March 1778 at St. James' Street, London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir Griffith Boynton, 6th Bt. and Mary Heblethwayte.1 He married Mary Gray, daughter of Captain unknown Gray and unknown Watson, on 1 January 1810.1 He died on 28 August 1854 at age 76.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, on 6 July 1799 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1803 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Boynton, of Barmston, co. York [E., 1618] on 19 November 1832.1

     Mary Gray was born circa 1787.1 She was the daughter of Captain unknown Gray and unknown Watson.1 She married Sir Henry Boynton, 9th Bt., son of Sir Griffith Boynton, 6th Bt. and Mary Heblethwayte, on 1 January 1810.1 She died on 26 June 1877 at Manor Street, Bridlington Quay, Bridlington, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1
     Her married name became Boynton.
