We are thrilled to announce that, following the approval of our Energy Efficiency Audit Scheme for the Manufacturing Sector (EEASMS) grant, our team has officially kicked off our comprehensive energy audit. In collaboration with NexEnergy, Ecoasis, and the Ministry of Industry, this initiative marks a significant step toward enhancing our energy management efforts. Our primary goal is to accurately assess our current energy consumption and develop a robust action plan to reduce and optimize our usage by conducting a level 2 energy audit in line with ISO 50002:14 - the Energy Audit Standard. This will allow us to put in place a plan to not only decrease our energy footprint but also to foster a culture of sustainability within our organization, hence meeting our commitments. The energy audit will also serve as a basis for understanding our current and future energy requirements and will assist us in our transition toward renewable energy. We are honoured to support the evolution of the Père Henri Souchon – Oasis de Paix Centre, which will be renamed the Oasis de Paix Educational and Vocational Training Centre in 2024. Since its inception in 2006, this institution has provided educational and vocational support to over 2,700 young people from vulnerable communities.   With accreditation from the MITD and the invaluable support of the National Social Inclusion Foundation, the centre will expand its capacity to accommodate 200 students annually and offer vocational training up to NC3 level. Archemics is proud to sponsor the centre’s Hospitality Programme by providing detergent products, contributing to hands-on, high-quality training for the students. At Archemics, we are driven by a deep sense of purpose—to give back not only to our community but also to our planet. In partnership with anAngel, we launched a meaningful donation drive to support local NGOs, focusing on sustainability and social impact. Together, we collected gently used clothes, toys, books, and essential hygiene products to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need. Here’s what we achieved together: ✅ 176 kg of clothes were given a second life, embracing the principles of reuse, recycle, and repair to reduce waste and conserve resources. ✅ Our employees sponsored 60 dinner sets for donation through the impactful “Plates of Dignity” campaign, fostering dignity and care for underserved communities. ✅ Essential hygiene products were donated to promote health and inclusion for vulnerable individuals. ✅Toys and books sponsored by our employees were donated to vulnerable children in need. This initiative, in collaboration with NGOs like La Colombe, Future Hope, and I Have a Dream, embodies our commitment to the Inclusion and Corporate Volunteering programme of our Sustainability plan.
