Last week, we signed an MoU with Fly Technology Agriculture Sdn Bhd (WormingUp) to jointly increase the accessibility and affordability of #blacksoldierfly protein for livestock cultivation in Sarawak. Through this collaboration, we are fully committed to transferring our feed-grade production practices to WormingUp, ensuring quality and sustainability at every step. We are excited to announce that we have partnered 99 Speedmart to produce #blacksoldierfly frass using their organic waste. Incredibly high in organic matter, your house plants will surely love it! We have launched in 70 of their stores in Klang Valley and will eventually hope to roll the product out to all 2,600 stores (and counting) in the future. Massive shoutout to 99 Speedmart for truly embodying the spirit of #sustainability. Congratulations to ATIRA ELYANA for leading this project.

Many companies talk about sustainability and zero-waste practices. 99 Speedmart is one of the few we've come across that puts its money where its mouth is. Waste from expired and unsold products is expected from any supermarket and optimising to minimise these waste streams are important for such businesses from an economic and environmental perspective. 99 Speedmart has an extremely low waste percentage, a testament to its efficient supply chain. However, as Malaysia's largest mini-market chain, even such a small percentage works out to be substantial in absolute terms. We are proud to announce that we will be helping 99 Speedmart manage its waste in a #sustainable way using #blacksoldierflies. We see this as a first step in paving the way for #blacksoldierfly products to become more mainstream.
