The META-MUSEUM kicked-off successfully on October 14-15 in Turin. The coordinator POLITECNICO di Torino, Department of Architecture hosted a great event at its historic building. We’re very excited to be part of this ambitious project and the consortium. Looking forward to sharing results of this exciting journey.

Recognized for its inclusive educational programmes, particularly those for disabled young people and outreach efforts like the “fairy tale hospital” and sessions in penitentiaries. The museum emphasizes accessibility and social responsibility. The judges commended its high standard in inclusive education and its ability to remain relevant despite being over 20 years old.

Renowned for modern and contemporary art, the museum is celebrated for its commitment to change, inclusivity, and transparency. It has reimagined its permanent collection to include diverse global perspectives. The jury praised its innovative displays, vibrant programmes, and efforts to engage a broader audience.

✨2024 Cildren in Museums Award winner: Museum of Solutions, Mumbai, India 🎉 On Friday, 4 October, in a ceremony during the European Museum Academy meeting in Cyprus, the results of the 2024 #ChildreninMuseumsAward were announced. 32 museums took part in the competition from 17 countries, with six museums listed as finalists. The winner, The Museum of Solutions (Mumbai, IN) receives a cash prize of 7,500 Euros and will hold for one year a bronze statue of Miffy, the world-famous children’s character created by Dick Bruna. The sculptor is Marc Bruna, Dick Bruna’s younger son.
