A beautiful aerial video of our project site in Vashkai. The video was made by our client a few weeks ago and shared with us. Since the video was made, we successfully completed the final roof structures on the digesters and conducted pressure testing. This results in the tanks being 'mechanically' finished. Wow! The day after the big night, the congratulations and celebrations are still pouring in. Winning the prestigious Oryx Prize and securing second place in the FD Gazellen National Awards in our category is an achievement we’ll cherish and celebrate together. A special mention to the jury, who praised our international outlook, social responsibility, impressive growth, commitment to sustainability, and pioneering efforts in building renewable energy systems — a journey we began back in the early '90s, well before sustainability and the energy transition was a global priority. We’re excited that the regional newspaper Tubantia called HoSt Group “the greatest company” and we’ve made the national newspaper FD (Financieel Dagblad), and organizer of the awards, with a major feature. First fire at our RDF CHP project site in Romania. During the hot commissioning, we dried out the refractory and cleaned the steam pipeline with a blow-out. Next up is the commissioning of the turbine and an operability test plus a performance test. Thereafter, the project will be completed and handed over to our client. Leveraging advanced combustion technology and advanced flue gas cleaning, the plant is set to meet stringent EU emission norms. Through our technology, the client will transform RDF into valuable renewable energy. ♻️ Interested to learn more about our heat and power plants?
