Webinar: An introduction to Riskrunner What is Riskrunner? In this webinar, we will introduce Riskrunner. Our new risk management platform that will help you manage your risks over time, and we have launched the first version of it! Why did we build this platform? While working with bowties and barrier management in general over the past decade, some problems keep resurfacing with most clients we work with: 1) Difficulty figuring out who is going to use the risk assessment once it's done to achieve a goal. 2) Keeping risk information from spreading across multiple registers. 3) Risk assessments become static documents and lose their relevance quickly. 4) Maintaining a consistent approach to risk management across a larger organisation. Existing software solutions don't adequately solve these issues, so we built our own. We'd like to show you what we came up with. We are excited to announce that the webinar speaker is Alex de Ruijter You can register for this free webinar via this link https://lnkd.in/evz6T3aU Resilium Resilium UK Riskrunner #Resilium #ResiliumUK #Riskrunner #ResiliumWebinar #NOV2024

In larger organisations, it’s often difficult to maintain a consistent approach to risk management across different parts of the business, while still allowing each business unit to manage their unique risks. If you want to know how you can make sure to develop a company standard that learns and evolves over time, please join our event on 13 November in Manchester UK.

BowTies for asset serviceability risk! We're beyond excited to announce that Ross McCorrisken will be speaking at our upcoming event 'Visualising Knowledge, Operationalising Wisdom' in Manchester, UK. Ross has worked in the water industry for 12 years as an Asset Management & Reliability Practitioner. Starting his career in 2012 with Scottish Water as an Asset Management Apprentice, working across a number of directorates within the business before becoming an Asset Planner. In his role as an asset planner, he was accountable for the investment strategy across a number of wastewater catchments to ensure that they protected and enhanced the environment, delivered services for customers and enabled sustainable and inclusive development. In 2021 he was promoted to the role of Technical Team Manager and established the Asset Risk & Reliability team. This team is responsible for developing risk and reliability products to enable decision makers to make operational and strategic decisions to Scottish Water assets in-line with the Scottish Water strategic ambitions. Outside of work Ross enjoys volunteering within the local community, DIY projects and traveling. Every day our teams across the wastewater service conduct service risk assessments in support of promoting interventions to our asset base. Historically these assessments have been conducted using a variety of tools and approaches which were heavily influenced by the knowledge of the person conducting the assessment and was often complex and challenging to view and understand the outputs. We have developed a tool using the Bow-Tie method to conduct service risk assessments across our assets to make the process more visual and engaging. We have developed a corporate standard which we are able to deploy using the solution to ensure compliance with minimum asset standards in our management approaches which detail our interventions for asset groups. It's not all about the Bowtie! We’re thrilled to have Fiona speaking at our upcoming event 'Visualising Knowledge, Operationalising Wisdom' in Manchester, UK. Fiona, a former system safety engineer working in flight test, is applying system safety thinking to help improve and advance risk management in a leading science and technology development centre. Her presentation will focus on the use of bowties and bowtie-derived information for risk communication and how that supports good safety leadership decision-making. The bowties are being used as the focal point of understanding but will not be the primary means of communication. This will involve a concept for a safety data pipeline that’s currently under development. This will allow users the information they need to do their jobs effectively (and safely) in a format that is relevant to their roles.
