𝑽𝒆𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒖𝒔 𝑮𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒚𝒔𝒆 2025 Vandaag vindt bij RRD alweer de 2e cursusdag van de Verdiepingscursus Gangbeeldanalyse plaats. Met dank aan Marc Nederhand, Judith Fleuren, Erik Prinsen, Leendert Schaake en Corien Nikamp. Diverse casuïstiek komt aan bod en onder meer rotatie afwijkingen tijdens het lopen en diverse 3D meetmethoden voor gangbeeldanalyse worden besproken. Na vandaag geven we het stokje over aan onze collega’s in Nijmegen waar Sander Geurts, Jorik Nonnekes en Jip F. Kamphuis in de 2 laatste cursusdagen verder in zullen gaan op verdiepende casussen, uni- en bilaterale problematiek en interventies rondom de gangbeeldanalyse. 𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒑 𝒕𝒐𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒔 𝒏𝒆𝒙𝒕 𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒎𝒃𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒚𝒔𝒊𝒔 Recently dr. Rachele Rossanigo defended successfully her dissertation in Torino, Italy and received an ‘excellent cum laude’ grade. A part of her dissertation is based on a series of experiments she performed at the RRD movement lab in 2022 together with Chris Baten, senior researcher on Ambulatory 3D Analysis of Human Movement at RRD and his PhD student Vinish Y.. Central to the joint work is a new method, developed at Politecnico di Torino, combining a 3d movement sensor (a MIMU) and 2 infrared distance sensors to estimate foot position in a device on one foot. Future joint work is planned on developing a data fusion solution combining data from the integrated Torino sensor with a set of MIMUs on the lower body, or even with the new UMIMU sensors, under development at RRD together with partners Hogeschool Saxion, GABLE SYSTEMS and University of Twente. These next generation movement sensors are MIMUs with the added capability of intra-sensory distance measurement and promise new levels of accuracy and robustness in wearable movement sensing. #movement #sensors #MIMU #sensing #wearable

𝗥𝗼𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵, 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝘃𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲 𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕.𝗩. 𝗯𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝘂𝗻 𝗸𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗻  Roessingh Research and Development B.V. (RRD) fuseert per 1 januari 2025 met Roessingh, Centrum voor Revalidatie (RCR). Door de handen ineen te slaan creëren RCR en RRD meer mogelijkheden voor vraaggestuurd onderzoek en aansluiting van innovaties bij de zorgpraktijk. Ook gaan RRD en RCR samen optrekken in het doen van onderzoek naar en het implementeren van innovatieve zorgprocessen en -technologieën. RRD gaat verder als onderzoeksafdeling van RCR en blijft zich in de nieuwe situatie profileren als impact lab voor gepersonaliseerde zorgtechnologie. Dit houdt in dat we samen met de gebruiker technologie ontwikkelen, en evalueren, die daadwerkelijk gebruikt kan worden in de relevante context. Ook de intensieve samenwerking met de Universiteit Twente wordt onverminderd voortgezet.

On Wednesday, December 4, the team from Roessingh Research and Development and Development had the opportunity to pitch the ROOMMATE project project during the Dutch THCS (Transforming Health and Care Systems) meeting in The Hague, hosted by ZonMw During the pitch, the audience was introduced to the ROOMMATE project, followed by a Q&A session for further discussion and clarification. At Roessingh Research and Development and Development, three researchers are actively contributing to the ROOMMATE project: Boris van Schooten focusing on the technical integration of various technology components into the ROOMMATE solution. Damion Lourensz, MSc collaborating with clinical partners to design a patient journey and service model tailored to the ROOMMATE solutions. Stephanie Jansen - Kosterink supporting the preparation and execution of a cohort multiple Randomized Controlled Trial (cmRCT) and forecasting the Social Return on Investment (SROI).

Bij RRD gebruiken we de wetenschappelijke onderbouwde Social Return on Investment (SROI) methode om maatschappelijke impact te meten. De SROI methode onderscheidt zich van de bekende ROI methode, doordat het niet alleen meet wat de financiële investering van uw sociale of technologische innovatie oplevert, maar ook welke impact uw innovatie op de maatschappij heeft. Wij doen dit door het maatschappelijke rendement van alle stakeholders inzichtelijk te maken. Het startpunt van de SROI methode is dan ook het samen opstellen van een duidelijk scenario van de innovatie met alle stakeholders. Op basis van dit scenario analyseren wij wat de stakeholders inbrengen (b.v. aan tijd of financiële investering) en welke waarde er wordt gecreëert.
