🚧 Big things are happening in Kinloch! 🔨 Blueline Consulting and the WMConstruction Ltd Construction team have been working hard on the Whangamata Road Safety Upgrades, for Taupō District Council. We’ve just installed a new raised table crossing at the Whangamata Rd & Kinloch Rd intersection and have started laying the brand new shared path linking Kinloch Rd and Oakdale Dr, with seamless connections at the Whangamata Stream Reserve. Brake New Zealand Road Safety Week is here, 20th - 26th May 2024. This week is designed to highlight the need to prevent road deaths and injuries across NZ. Blueline Consulting works within the community to advise, design, and manage the construction of projects that enhance the safety of our community. Blueline fully supports this important initiative and the work that Brake New Zealand does to raise awareness of road safety in schools, organisations, and our wider communities. Blueline is currently working on a number of transport upgrades around Taupo to enhance the safety of drivers and pedestrians. Last week one of our Engineers met with the Botanical Society Board to discuss improvements to the corner of Hyde Ave and Shepherd Road in Taupo, aiming to reduce vehicle speeds entering the sharp corner, discourage lane cutting, provide safer access when entering and exiting the botanical gardens, and providing a safer and more visible crossing for pedestrians. #RoadSafetyWeek #RoadSafetyHeroes
