LinkedIn recently took action to deactivate our page due to violations of their policies regarding discrimination in job posts based on protected characteristics. While we understand the importance of adhering to LinkedIn's policies, we want to assure you that our intentions were never to discriminate but rather to uphold legal obligations within the maritime industry. Our gender requests in job posts were aimed at ensuring the safety and comfort of all crew members, in compliance with international maritime law regulations such as the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC). However, we recognize that LinkedIn's policies take precedence, and we are committed to modifying our practices to align with these policies while continuing to uphold industry regulations. Unfortunately, despite our efforts to appeal the decision and clarify our position, LinkedIn has not reactivated our page. As a result, we have made the decision to start a new company page from scratch. We want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for your support and loyalty. Exciting opportunity for an experienced stew looking to further their career in a Head of Housekeeping/2nd stew role on board a 59m+ MY currently in the US with a lovely, close-knit crew on board. This role would be ideal for someone who has had some 2nd stew experience but willing to look at an experienced stewardess who feels confident leading a team of 3 as well as being a strong support to the chief stew. This role is not the typical 2nd stew role in that your duties will revolve more around the back of house tasks making sure it is kept up to a high standard and training the more junior stews in housekeeping and laundry than it will be service-focused. STEW / MASSEUSE required on 50m+ motor yacht in the USA. YOA Yacht Crew job #7423. Amazing opportunity for a Stew/Masseuse with Yoga or Pilates certification to join a close knit and fun interior team on a private 50m+ M/Y currently in the US. Ideal candidate must have knowledge of Thai massage as well as be certified in Yoga or Pilates and feel confident in leading classes with guests. Trained in facials, manicures and pedicures a bonus. A seasons experience is preferable but open to new entrants with an understanding of the long hours required in the industry. You will very much be a part of the interior team as well as the role is 50/50 so will be involved in all aspects of housekeeping and laundry so must enjoy and be willing to do the housekeeping side of the role just as much as spa services. Must also be ok with not being involved in service. All in all someone who is calm, eager to learn and be a team player would be a good fit for this role and program. This is a well run boat with good crew who enjoy spending time together, are active and enjoy doing crew activities together such as hiking, going to the beach, game nights, movie nights etc. If you're looking for a crew that feels like family, this is the boat for you. CAPTAIN required on 30m+ sail yacht in the USA. YOA Yacht Crew job #7418. Looking for a Captain and Chef team to run a 30m+ sailing yacht. Ideal candidates will have worked as a team on similar sized vessels in the same capacity. The captain will need good engineering and systems skills. The chef needs to be quite diverse in culinary offerings but not at a Michelin Star level by any means.. One of the pair needs good administrative , accounting and project skills. At any time there will be support from the exiting captain and chef team. There will be lots of support within the program. This is a strictly private program. Owner loves to sail and will do 2 x 1 month trips in the Caribbean with a mixture of family and friends as guests ranging from just himself to 2 or 3 couples. Maine summer is mostly day or afternoon sails out of Portland and 2-3 long weekend type trips throughout the summer. There are 4 crew in total. Captain, chef, mate / engineer, deck / stew. The 4th guest cabin is available for the captain when guests aren't onboard. Current program is to finish the Caribbean season in April and summer in Maine. After Maine there will be a yard period ( likely Newport) where teak decks and flush deck hatches are to be replaced. Following on to another Caribbean season and into the Pacific 2026. Package on offer: - The salary range will be 15k - 18k USD per month for the team. - Annual salary reviews and Christmas bonuses - Leave will be 1 month with flights.
