💫We’re thrilled to share highlights from Inomed’s participation in the Knowledge Exchange Program in Norway, part of the transformative ECHoS | Establishing of Cancer Mission Hubs: Networks and Synergies | project! This initiative is a cornerstone in the fight against cancer, supporting Horizon Europe’s Cancer Mission and Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan by creating coordinated networks to advance cancer research, innovation, and policy-making across Europe. 🎤It was an inspiring to learn from countries that already have NCMH structures in place. While each country’s journey is unique, we discovered shared challenges that can be addressed through mutual learning and collaboration. These exchanges help pave the way for common solutions to engage stakeholders effectively and build resilient frameworks for action. 🚀We were also excited to present our progress with the Romanian Living Lab for cancer prevention under the 4P-CAN Project. This initiative highlights the power of citizen engagement and regional innovation in advancing the Cancer Mission’s objectives. By focusing on #prevention and fostering community involvement, we’re taking tangible steps toward creating people-centric healthcare and #research systems. #CancerResearch #HorizonEurope #stakholderengagement #citizens

📣 A delegation of ECHoS | Establishing of Cancer Mission Hubs: Networks and Synergies project was present last week at the European Cancer Summit.  This event was organised by our Partner European Cancer Organisation (ECO) and it is a major must-go event in EU cancer landscape, where patients, researchers, medical doctors, policy makers, industry and National and European politicians meet to discuss last developments and orientations for advancing cancer care and cancer research policies in Europe.    This year's programme was filled with incredible testimonials and high-level speakers! Today, WHO/Europe launches the Alcohol Policy Playbook, designed to help policymakers navigate the ever-present debates around alcohol harms and alcohol policy. The Playbook counters the industry’s narrative by presenting scientific evidence showing: 🍷🚫 that no level of alcohol consumption is safe for health and cancer risk 👪 that alcohol inflicts widespread harm across all segments of the population 📉 that countries lose more than they gain from alcohol sales 💪 and that public policies are effective in protecting health and safety.
