A PALMETAL - Armazenagem e Serviços, S.A está instalada no Parque Industrial da Autoeuropa, com uma área coberta de 21.000 m2 em três armazéns com sistema de aquecimento. Somos uma empresa de serviços de logística, especializada em soluções de movimentação de cargas, armazenagem, pré-montagens, controlo de qualidade, manutenções, gestão de stocks e de embalagens, e em projetos especiais de logística. Dispomos de um ramal privado de caminho-de-ferro, pontes rolantes com capacidade até 40 Ton e empilhadores com capacidades variáveis até 32 Ton. Para além disto, possuímos atrelados e tratores com capacidades até 50 Ton, para distribuição dentro do Parque Industrial. Somos responsáveis por assegurar a receção, armazenagem e entrega de produtos dos nossos clientes, incluindo o transporte das bobines de aço/platinas e ferramentas de estampagem (matrizes). Recebemos, controlamos e entregamos os produtos em sequência ou kanban, ou de outra forma solicitado pelos clientes. Trabalhamos 24h por dia como parceiro de serviços na área logística, com a VW Autoeuropa e seus fornecedores e outras empresas do ramo automóvel e não automóvel, dentro e fora do parque industrial. Fazemos montagens de componentes automóvel, controlo de qualidade, inspeções e retrabalhos, dispondo de serviços de manutenção de racks/contentores, entre outros. A Palmetal está preparada para fornecer qualquer tipo de apoio logístico (exceto frio), dispondo para isso de um sistema informático e de comunicação sofisticado, que possibilita o acesso online e adaptado às adaptado às necessidades de cada cliente.

❄️ Fit through the winter: This is the name and aim of our annual employee initiative, which encourages sports activities during the cold winter months. In teams, participants from our locations across Europe can collect points for a broad range of activities such as running, training in the gym or skiing, as well as for regular health checks. 💪⛷️ Many colleagues are already looking forward to the points chase, which starts next week. The winning team will be crowned in March. This is a great initiative to encourage people to get fit together and promote health and team spirit of our employees. In January 2024, we launched the internal initiative “8 Waste: Together against waste”. The campaign ran until August and aimed to identify eight types of waste and encourage their reduction in order to improve processes. Our European sites have generated many great ideas for reducing waste. One idea from the administrative area came from our Spanish site in El Puig. This involved the digitalization of training evaluations by moving from paper-based assessments to a fully digital solution, reducing processing time by 60% and costs by 40%. Another idea came from our site in Krefeld. In the incoming goods department, there were too few interim storage locations for coils with open sample status in relation to the quantity delivered. By switching to defined storage areas near the interim storage area, the preparation time was reduced by almost 40%. The ideas generated by this initiative enable us to continue to focus on tackling waste in order to provide our customers with the best products and services. #thyssenkrupp #materialsprocessing #service #operationalexcellence

Our hearts and thoughts are with all the people affected by the severe weather and flood in Valencia and other regions. Even though our production site in El Puig is not affected, many of our colleagues live in and around the city of Valencia. We are glad that they are doing well under the circumstances, and we send them lots of strength and solidarity. Nuestros corazones y pensamientos están con todas las personas afectadas por el mal tiempo y las inundaciones en Valencia y otras regiones. Aunque nuestro centro de producción de El Puig no se ha visto afectado, muchos de nuestros compañeros viven en la ciudad de Valencia y sus alrededores.
