Recently, Qatar Environment & Energy Research Institute - QEERI had the privilege of hosting Prof. Hokyong Shon, a globally recognized expert in environmental and water engineering, for an insightful seminar. Prof. Shon shared strategies for transforming wastewater and seawater into valuable resources, drawing from his extensive research and leadership at the Australian Research Council's Research Hub for Nutrients in a Circular Economy (ARC NiCE Hub). His presentation showcased solutions addressing global water and food challenges while driving sustainability and delivering economic benefits. The session explored advancements in sustainable water management and highlighted the potential of circular economy principles to create impactful environmental and societal outcomes.
