Great to have reached an agreement with EIB. The due diligence process is a strong indication that we are doing things right and our business fits in the sustainable future of fish farming. Together with Alpha Aquas state-of-the-art technology, our future farm will produce 4000 tonnes of sustainable Arctic Char every year. All the waste from the production will be put back into the circle of life. https://lnkd.in/dts9n_5R

Interesting and we at Cold Lake would agree. Our system from #AlphaAqua enables us to adjust the flow for optimal well being and growth rate. Time will tell what the optimal flow is but rest assured, we will find it.
🐟🌊 #Farmed #fish should keep #fit for faster #growth, says new #research. 📈 💡 Researchers at #Australia's Murdoch University found #exercise training has a "largely universal growth enhancing effect" in #finfish #aquaculture, getting fish #marketready faster, and achieving more uniform sizes. 🗣 “Using statistical methods, we show that regardless of training regime used, fish that were exercised grew much faster than fish that were not exercised,” said co-author Dr Essie Rodgers. 🗣 "We also found that all species of #fish benefitted from exercise training, and not just athletic fish like #salmon,” she added - including species such as yellowtail #kingfish. ℹ The study also found that exercise produced fish with a more uniform size - and did not affect #feed conversion ratios. 👀 Read more details here 👇 https://lnkd.in/e9QKRq23
