GREAT-PIONEER omdelade detta
With this year coming to an end, I want to use the opportunity to reflect on one of its highlights: Participating in the GREAT-PIONEER course at the AKR-2 research reactor ⚛️ This fifth course marked the end of my journey with Great-Pioneer, which has been absolutely enriching and inspiring. At AKR-2, we conducted nine experiments with preceding theory sessions and subsequent data evaluation sessions. We covered topics like reactor operation, control rod calibration, flux measurements, Rossi-alpha determination, neutron energy spectrum calculation, nuclear cross-section measurements, and neutron activation, transmission, and diffraction experiments. Many thanks to Dr.-Ing. Carsten Lange and Dipl.-Phys. Alexander Knospe from Technische Universität Dresden for their teaching and guidance! The picture shows me operating the reactor 😁
