We're delighted to announce that our sustainability journey is part of a thesis, in partnership with Beijer Alma AB, and two students from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Linus Rodin and Topias Karlsson, are mapping our climate reduction journey as part of their MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management, analyzing the status reports from our sites on Scope 1, 2, and 3 progressions. Anna Gejke Haesert Head of Sustainability at Lesjӧfors comments: “This is a truly exciting project and we are very fortunate to be the focus of the thesis. With the support of the findings, we will be able to develop a more detailed and structured climate reduction plan. The Lesjöfors Group has signed an agreement to acquire India-based International Industrial Springs (IIS), marking its first acquisition in India. IIS operates six plants in Mumbai, specializing in disc springs, washers and general springs, serving industries in valves, energy, engineering, and aerospace. Additionally, IIS offers hot coiling, extending Lesjöfors’ capabilities to three sites across Europe and India.
