🌍 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 IUCN 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞-𝐭𝐨-𝐒𝐞𝐚 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦🌊 After a decade of championing Source-to-Sea management, the SIWI - Stockholm International Water Institute is preparing to transition the hosting function of the S2S Platform. Starting 1 January 2025, the Union for Conservation of Nature will officially host the S2S Platform! Since the launch of the S2S Platform in 2014, SIWI has worked tirelessly to grow this initiative from a handful of partners into a robust, global community advocating for the holistic management of land, freshwater, coasts, and the ocean. Together, we have built evidence, fostered commitments, and driven impactful action - from source to sea. Now, it is time for a new chapter. We are confident and enthusiastic that IUCN will lead the S2S Platform to even greater heights, ensuring its vision continues to balance benefits for the environment, communities, and economies. 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬: 🌐The new S2S Platform website is now live: https://lnkd.in/eZeHS9HW ✉️ The SIWI email address (S2SPlatform@siwi.org) will be deactivated from 1 January 2025. For all inquiries, please reach out to S2SPlatform@iucn.org. 💬Stay connected via LinkedIn, where IUCN will share updates and activities. The momentum is strong—let us keep moving source-to-sea action forward! ▶️ Read more details in our recent news update: https://lnkd.in/eBHKQBmi Ruth Mathews Jose Pablo Murillo Gustav Thungren Tom Panella James Dalton Maria Carreño Lindelien Dana Dedeck

Samhällsorganisationer och sociala organisationer
A network of organizations committed to promoting, implementing, and building expertise on source-to-sea management.
Om oss
The S2S Platform leverages the voice of its partners to keep source-to-sea action on the agenda. Partners grounded in research, implementation and monitoring strengthen the evidence-base and build the demand for source-to-sea action. They demonstrate that a source-to-sea approach is needed to address persistent and rising issues such as climate change, water and marine pollution, and biodiversity decline.
