Today, Peter Anderberg from SpringNet AB (HeatNet Global) and I from IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute had the pleasure of visiting our Indian partners, Pranav Tripathi and Kuldeep Singh Panwar at the Biotic Waste Solutions Pvt. Ltd. office and site in Delhi. Our collaboration is part of the Improved Urban Climate by Cooling from Waste Heat project, which is supported by the India-Sweden Collaborative Industrial Research & Development Programme Vinnova @DST The objective of this visit was to gather critical insights under real-world conditions. We focused on collecting technical specifications of the existing incineration systems, including their operational schedules, energy consumption profiles, waste volumes processed, and proximity to potential cooling customers. This visit is a key step toward maximizing the impact of sustainable urban cooling solutions in India.
