Helena moderated the inspiring panel discussion alongside Nora Bavey, Lene Gerlach, and Ruth Brännvall. The panel addressed the challenges and opportunities in fostering innovation and diversity in life sciences. Grateful on International Women’s Day #IWD – and Excited for the Future💫 On this International Women’s Day, I want to express my deep gratitude to all the incredible women who continue to inspire, lead, and drive change. Today - and I suggest many days ahead- is a celebration of progress and a reminder of the work ahead to create a more inclusive and equal world. I am especially proud to have been reelected as #Chairwoman of the growing network VILDA - Ledande kvinnor i Life Science. A special thanks to founders Cecilia and Anna, who are now leaving after playing a pivotal role in establishing ViLDA, and to Sara Malcus for her strong contributions during her year on the board. Celebrating ⭐️International Women’s Day⭐️ Together with Action and Impact! Two days ago, I had the privilege of representing TECHNIA in sponsoring the VILDA - Ledande kvinnor i Life Science Annual Meeting & Summit 2025, bringing together more than 100 leading women in #LifeSciences. It was a day filled with positive energy, inspiration, and meaningful conversations about how we can drive progress in #Diversity, #Equity, and #Inclusion (#DEI) - especially in a world facing immense geopolitical, economic, and cultural challenges. The theme, #WomensHealth, #Leadership, and #Investment in Life Science, sparked powerful discussions on how we can accelerate innovation, foster inclusive and diverse leadership, and bring #SmarterProductsFaster by empowering women to #DareToLead and turn bold ideas into real-world impact. The moderators, speakers, and panelists were outstanding, and I want to take a moment to acknowledge some incredible individuals who continue to inspire me - not just for their shared dedication to these critical issues, but also for their competence, leadership, and drive. First, a special THANK YOU to our two amazing keynote speakers: ✨ Annie Lööf, former leader of the Swedish Centre Party. ✨ Jan Eliasson, former Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations. Their discussion, brilliantly moderated by our chairwoman ✨ Christina Östberg Lloyd, was thought-provoking, intimate, and filled with both wisdom and humor - an absolute highlight of the event!👌 ✨ Sarah Lidé, co-founder and board member of #VILDA, presenting some very fascinating figures and grafs about our senior and ambitious network of 245+ top executives and leaders where 92% of us are looking for Board assignments. I also want to recognize and celebrate my own incredible team who made this event a huge success. Your dedication and spot-on execution makes me proud! Yesterday I sat in a room full of C-level leaders. It also was a room filled with genuine warmth and respect.   That was the VILDA - Ledande kvinnor i Life Science annual summit, organized just a couple days before upcoming International Women’s Day. I am honored and grateful to have had the opportunity to attend and be inspired by the presenters, panelists, moderators, audience, and the incredible women I met at the event.   One word has stayed with me since: Together. As Jan Eliasson emphasized during the discussions, it is the most important word for the future. Together and only together can we stand and protect our values. Be it equity and diversity or peace, democracy and freedom.   Thank you VILDA - Ledande kvinnor i Life Science and all the wonderful women that made it happen and keep it going. Together.  

Proud, grateful, and inspired! Two years ago, together with Anna Törner and Sarah Lidé, I co-founded VILDA - Ledande kvinnor i Life Science – Leading Women in Life Science. We could never have imagined the journey we were embarking on. Today, we are close to 250 members, and over these years, we have connected, supported each other, and opened doors to boardrooms together. Yesterday, we held our annual VILDA Summit, where Anna and I were honored, together with Sara Malcus as we stepped down from the board to make room for new leaders. It was a day filled with energy, insights, and hope for the future! 💡✨ 🔹 "Power in the Money, Money in the Power" – A powerful discussion on investments, financial influence, and how we can drive change through funding. Thank you to Nora Bavey, Lene Gerlach, Ruth Brännvall, and Helena Strigård for sharing such important perspectives. 🔹 Jan Eliasson & Annie Lööf delivered inspiring talks on leadership, global impact, and the importance of working together to create change. 🔹 Thought leadership knows no borders – A message that resonated deeply with all of us. In times of global uncertainty, it is more crucial than ever to come together and build a counterforce to the most distressing events. Europe is now stepping up as a global leader, but we must remember that inclusion, open dialogue, and collaboration across borders are key to real transformation. 🔹 Connections & networking – So many new faces, friendships, and future collaborations! Hearing your stories, experiences, and ambitions was truly inspiring. What a ride it has been! 🚀 Who would have thought that in just 2+ years since it was founded, VILDA - Ledande kvinnor i Life Science has grown to become a network of 250+ women leaders with strong expertise in the life science sector - 💡More than 60% have at least 20 years of professional expertise, primarily within pharma, biotech and business/management, 💡 More than a third are CEOs, and 💡 More than half hold a board position. As one of the co-founders alongside Anna Törner and Cecilia Bröms-Thell, I couldn't be more proud. And a big part is thanks to Christina Östberg Lloyd's leadership as chairwoman in the past year, alongside us in the board including Sara Malcus, and the strong engagement from VILDA members such as Helena L., Anna Löfgren, Karoline Akerjordet, and others. Yesterday during VILDA's Annual Summit, it was fantastic to be a part of a roomful of women (and men!) who are keen to be a part of the solution for strengthening the life science sector in Sweden by being role models for leadership, leaning in to mentor the next generation, and doing our part to address the "drop to the top" in the sector. A special thank you to Lene Gerlach for sharing the perspectives from Women in Life Science Denmark and how important it is for us to collaborate at a Nordic level (also with Chelsea Ranger and Women in Life Science Norway (WiLD Norway)), and to Helena Strigård for moderating a great discussion on the panel with Nora Bavey, Ruth Brännvall and Lene on women's health, leadership and investment. The cherry on top was the concluding keynote panel with Annie Lööf and Jan Eliasson and moderated by Christina Östberg Lloyd, reflecting on the current geopolitical landscape. It was a dose of clarity, realism, and also hope for the future. This inspiring event that unite visionary leaders, trailblazing women, and industry professionals to share strategies, stories, and empower one another.
