AEI Legal LLC is proud to have advised MBK Real Estate Asia, a subsidiary of Mitsui & Co., Ltd., on its joint venture with Mitsubishi Estate and Hines. The consortium acquired a prime logistics asset in Singapore from British American Tobacco - a 263,328 sq ft site, the property boasts 446,509 sq ft of total gross floor area, including a climate-controlled warehouse space. AEI Legal LLC is pleased to have advised Wavemaker Partners in leading the US$5m seed investment alongside SEEDS Capital in Mushroom Material, a New Zealand-based start-up focused on providing a sustainable mushroom based material as an alternative to polystyrene styrofoam and cardboard packaging.   Proceeds from the financing will enable Mushroom Material to establish a 1,300-sqm pilot plant in Auckland’s Mount Roskill in New Zealand.
