Making Friends for a Better World

About us

The Singapore International Foundation makes friends for a better world. We connect Singaporeans and world communities, strengthening people-to-people ties and enabling collaborations, to enrich lives and effect positive change. Our work is anchored in the belief that cross-cultural interactions provide insights that strengthen understanding. Recognised by the Tripartite Alliance for Fair & Progressive Employment Practices for adopting the Tripartite Standards in Human Resources, our diverse workplace facilitates exchanges that inspire action and enable collaborations for good.  Our programmes bring people together to share ideas, skills and resources to effect real change in areas such as healthcare, education, arts and culture, as well as livelihood and business. We do this because we believe we all can, and should do our part to build a better world, one we envision as peaceful, inclusive and offering opportunities for all. Feel free to drop by our abode at the International Involvement Hub, located at 60A Orchard Road, #04-01 Tower 1, The Atrium@Orchard, Singapore 238890. • Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a group of esteemed journalists from China on our Journalist Visit Programme (JVP)! Through immersive experiences—exploring Singapore’s public housing estates, tracing the footsteps of the Samsui women, and discovering the diverse cultural heritage at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, Indian Heritage Centre, and The Intan—our media friends gained a deeper understanding of Singapore’s distinctive multicultural society. The programme also facilitated meaningful dialogues with Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information & Ministry of Health (Singapore), Rahayu Mahzam, representatives from the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY), Racial and Religious Harmony Circles, OnePeople.sg, and Lianhe Zaobao 联合早报, fostering cross-cultural exchange and new perspectives. 🤝 A big thank you to our partners and everyone who made this experience enriching! We look forward to seeing the stories that emerge from this visit. 📖📰 Check out our Instagram Story highlights to see more: https://lnkd.in/ggQtmaD3 #SIFJVP2025 #CulturalExchange Guancha News 21st Century Business Herald Southern Metropolis Daily 南方都市报 Sina Weibo Jiemian News
