Do ensure that your risk management system is implemented well, as it is the foundation to preventing workplace injuries. This includes ensuring that the workers are equipped with the necessary information and resources to carry out the work safely and are not left to their own discretion entirely. Empower your workers to speak up and report any unsafe situations to their supervisors to learn and address potential risks before they result in injuries. Counsel your workers to refrain from taking short-cuts; they should follow safe work procedures instead.
