🌍 Transition to Electromobility: A Challenge and Opportunity for Slovakia ⚡ 🔋 On December 11, 2024, a roundtable discussion organized by SEVA – Slovak Electric Vehicle Association took place in Brussels, focusing on the future of electromobility in Slovakia. With the participation of MEPs, experts, and industry leaders, the discussion addressed the challenges of transforming the automotive industry, developing charging infrastructure, and legislative priorities. 💬 “Slovakia has a unique opportunity to be a leader in electromobility, but the key lies in clear legislation, investments, and infrastructure support,” emphasized Peter Badik from GreenWay. 📈 The transition to electromobility is not just an ecological goal but a critical point for the future of Slovakia's industry. By 2030, we expect the number of electric vehicles on our roads to grow to 200,000 🚗, with Volvo planning to produce 250,000 electric cars annually in Košice starting in 2026. For success, massive investments are needed, particularly in charging stations along highways and in urban areas. ⚡ Together, we can change the future of transportation! #emoblity #decarbonization #SEVA

🚗🔌 Exciting discussions on Europe's electrification journey! Last Thursday morning, at an event hosted by ChargeUp Europe under the patronage of MEP Herbert Dorfmann , the panellists Moumen Hamdouch (Head of Unit, Sustainable and Intelligent Transport, DG Move, European Commission), Peter Badik (CEO, GreenWay Infrastructure), Wolfgang Ademmer (CMO, Alpitronic), MEP Susana Solís Pérez (ENVI Committee, European People's Party), tackled crucial questions: How do we accelerate EV adoption while ensuring robust infrastructure? How do we keep Europe competitive in a rapidly changing global market? Key takeaways: 1️⃣ The EV transition is non-negotiable—but citizens need clarity and confidence. 2️⃣ Infrastructure and affordability are critical. Rural areas and grid readiness remain challenges. 3️⃣ Industry and policymakers agree: stability and predictability are essential to foster investments. Let’s work together to ensure Europe leads in this green transition by prioritizing the stability of regulation! 🌍🔋 #Sustainability #Innovation #EVCharging

After four years of collaboration, innovation, and hard work, the iSTORMY project is approaching its final milestone! ⚡ Vrije Universiteit Brussel CEGASA Energía, S.L.U CEA Mondragon Unibertsitatea ZGR Corporación EDF TNO Prodrive Technologies AIT Austrian Institute of Technology Uniresearch B.V. 🎥 Mario Paroha introducing iSTORMY and GreenWay's Role in EV Charging Innovation. Since 2019, we've been integrating battery energy storage systems to enhance EV charging, especially in areas with limited grid capacity. Through the iSTORMY project, we're exploring hybrid batteries and advanced energy management systems (EMS) to improve charging efficiency and reduce costs. GreenWay’s key role is analyzing the total cost of ownership (TCO) for these technologies, aiming to achieve a 15% reduction in TCO compared to industry standards. 🎯 Our ultimate goal? Make high-power EV charging feasible, even in grid-constrained areas. #Electromobility #EnergyStorage #iSTORMY
