When Somy Ali accused Salman Khan of abuse, infidelity, and spying: 'My entire neck was black and blue because of his slaps'

Former actress Somy Ali has made shocking allegations against Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in the past, accusing him of physical abuse, controlling behavior, and obstructing her professional career. In her past interview with IANS, Somy revealed that Salman sent a family maid, Najma, to live with her as a spy.
“Our maid, who worked for Salim uncle and Salma aunty, told me that Salman sent her to keep an eye on whom I spoke to, which male co-actors visited me, and what I did all day,” she stated. Somy described feeling violated, recounting how the maid admitted her role, leading Somy to realize she was being closely monitored.
The actress also accused Salman of physical abuse. “He was so physically abusive that one time, when Najma knocked on the door, she told him, ‘Bhai, leave this girl alone and hit me instead.’ My entire neck was black and blue because of his slaps,” she revealed.A few months ago, in the AMA session, Somy discussed the reasons behind her departure from Bollywood, alleging that Salman’s infidelity and abusive behavior drove her away.
She claimed Salman had "eight one-night stands" during their relationship. “I was tired of his one-night stands and verbal and physical abuse. I left when he brought a new girl into our lives,” Somy said, adding that this prompted her to prioritize her education and leave the industry.
Somy also accused Salman of sabotaging her return to Bollywood by blocking opportunities. “Despite receiving offers, Salman feared I would expose his true nature,” she said. Reflecting on her initial decision to join Bollywood, Somy admitted it was due to a teenage crush on Salman, but meeting him in real life led to major disappointment. “To say I was disappointed would be an understatement,” she quipped, adding, “Ted Bundy had better manners than Salman.”
The actress also touched upon other controversies involving Salman, including the Bishnoi community’s ongoing dispute with him. Somy made a sensitive remark regarding late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, claiming his death was not a suicide but murder. She also referenced actress Jiah Khan’s tragic death, alleging Salman's influence in the case involving Jiah’s then-boyfriend, Suraj Pancholi.
