👩🏻🏫 Tomorrow (November 28th), the biggest event of the year in Ukraine’s IT education will take place in two weeks! Leading IT education experts and practitioners will gather for the 11th annual event, the largest in the field. This week, we’re starting to share the event details!
“We’re Proud” is a platform for real action aimed at creating change in society for the benefit of defenders, veterans and their families. It is a step toward a society where every defender, veteran, and their family members feel comfortable, have the opportunity to realise themselves, develop and build a new life.
The first initiatives of "We’re proud" began at the start of the full-scale war when the bank started supporting mobilised colleagues. Today, the ‘We’re Proud’ projects are focused on demobilised employees, potential candidates, clients who are servicemen and servicewomen, as well as partners who share values of the bank and develop veteran culture.
🪖 Supporting veterans is one of the key components of the value proposition of UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group and is part of the corporate welfare programme WE CARE. Specifically, the bank provides financial assistance and support to demobilised colleagues and potential candidates, which includes a compensation package, bonuses, benefits, rehabilitation, as well as mental health support: psychologist services and a veterans' community. The bank has a unique specialist, a person with military service experience who understands people with combat experience and advocates for their interests within the corporate culture—a programme manager—for working with veterans.
Another important focus is the training of employees. In particular, lectures on inclusivity and accessibility are regularly held for all employees. The bank has launched a special programme called ‘Veteran Buddy,’ aimed at creating a powerful support tool for colleague-defenders, helping them adapt to civilian life and fully realise their potential in the team.
At the same time, one of the key goals is to provide high-quality banking products and services. This led to the creation of a service model for military personnel and veterans who receive premium services in bank.
Specifically, we offer defenders and veterans:
🌿 priority access to service at the bank’s branches and cash desks, as well as with a contact-centre employee;
🌿 high-quality remote service and a full range of banking services via the UKRSIB online app;
🌿 the most common banking transactions can be conducted with a military ID;
🌿 in the premium branch, there is the possibility to book a meeting room and enjoy a cup of coffee.
