Well we are fast coming to the end of 2024 so I thought I would celebrate some of the special projects that we have been involved in for the rest of this week all of them are still under construction or about to start. It’s an Allied London gig and we were asked to create a vision and direction for a lovely building in Campfield . This is the initial idea we sent to Michael Ingall and he simple said “ yep love it let’s do it “ fast forward and it’s got planning and is under construction, now we love that . 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 to Michael Ingall PROJECT 3 ARCHITECTS LTD Dominic Horridge Amspec and all of the other lovely people involved Merry Christmas 🎄 #lovewhatyoudo Sheila Bird Studio Jon Humphreys Georgia Ingleton

  • 🌟 Spreading Christmas Cheer with the Salvation Army 🎁🎄 This festive season, Amspec were proud to support the The Salvation Army Christmas Toy Appeal, working alongside local schools and early years agencies to bring a little extra joy to children and families in need across the Wigan area. The appeal provides gifts to children aged from birth to 16, ensuring no child goes without during this special time of year. Our amazing team from all departments came together throughout November, generously donating gifts which were collected at our head office . Together, we donated an incredible 60+ gifts to the Salvation Army's Wigan branch on Scholes. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed. Your generosity is a true reflection of the Amspec spirit and will make a real difference to families this Christmas. ❤️ Andrew Maxwell Michelle Aidley. When The Fragrance Shop reached out to us with their ambitious goal of achieving a Guinness World Record, we were thrilled to get on board! Introducing The Fragrance Wall – officially the world's largest fragrance display, showcasing 3,000 different fragrances on a single wall. Six of our team used two scissor lifts and a spider machine to construct this incredible display, measuring an impressive 17.900m wide by 15.265m high. The project was completed within a week, with every fragrance carefully verified by official adjudicators. Thank you to Sanjay Vadera MBE, Atul Bansal MA FRSA and the rest of the team at The Fragrance Shop and Sheila Bird Studio for trusting us to bring this vision to life. #WorldRecord #Timelapse #FragranceWall Matt Penn Mike Wignall MCIOB Andrew Maxwell Laibah Malik Berni Hawkins Rusby Jon Humphreys Georgia Ingleton Rachel Picton

We had a great time at the Shevington High School careers fair last week, engaging with students of all ages. It was a pleasure to highlight the wide range of roles available in the construction industry, from joinery and interior design to estimating and quantity surveying! We also shared insights into the different pathways to these careers, offering advice on the grades and qualifications needed to achieve their goals! We couldn’t quite steal the spotlight from the real stars of the show – the twin goats from Emily’s Mini Farm! They were a huge hit with the students (and adults) and it’s safe to say they brought a lot of joy to the careers fair! 🐐✨ Thanks for having us Shevington High School Eddie Clifford Lisa Derbyshire

We are excited to announce that Amspec have successfully added the Cavity Barriers module to our FIRAS certification! Warringtonfire Cavity barriers are a vital component of passive fire protection systems, designed to prevent the spread of fire by sealing voids within ceilings, walls and floors. They work by restricting the pathways of smoke and flames through concealed spaces, ensuring that fire is contained and doesn't move freely around a building. Left unsealed these cavities can allow the spread of fire and essentially providing an easy route for smoke and flames to move around the building. Achieving third-party accreditation for the installation of cavity barriers is a significant milestone for our passive fire protection services. Combined with our existing FIRAS-certified modules, including: • Fire stopping (penetration sealing) • Timber fire door installation • Fire door maintenance This certification allows Amspec to deliver the highest standards of compliant, fully certified, passive fire protection installations across our projects.
