Thank you to the amazing Deliveroo and Alstom volunteers who were very busy elves last week and helped us sort donations and prepare food parcels for vulnerable households living in Brent Brent Foodbank heavily relies on the generosity of its community so we can continue to provide food and support to people who are struggling to make ends meet and don't know where else to turn. Last Friday we kicked off our revived training and development program at Brent Foodbank! Our team were invited to join a communication and active listening workshop with Martin Richards. Martin taught us some invaluable communication skills for dealing with emotional, vulnerable and difficult situations. Sadly, situations we deal with regularly due to increased levels of poverty and demand for food parcels.
