The Powerful Women of Manaki: Bojana Andric is one of the most prominent Serbian cinematographers, who for more than two decades has worked tirelessly to enrich Serbian film and television production, with important and impressive projects. She is Vice President of the Serbian Association of Cinematographers (SAS). She is also Co-Vice President of IMAGO, the International Federation of Cinematographers, she is an integral part of Imago's Diversity and Inclusiveness Committee and a full member of Imago's Technical Committee. Hoping this offers everyone the chance to submit an entry and celebrate the talent and achievements of exceptional women, allies, and companies in the broadcast and media technology space. Rise, the award-winning #advocacy group for #women in the #broadcast #media #technology sector, is currently accepting nominations for their annual Rise Awards. Submissions and nominations are encouraged from across the global broadcast media technology audience to showcase talent across the industry whether in a manufacturer, service provider, engineering or broadcaster role. ✨ 3, 2, 1…Action! 🎬 I had the pleasure of attending a truly inspiring event hosted by the Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Londra. The panel discussion, curated by the talented duo Alessandra Gonnella and Giorgia Cecconi of Nervosa Pictures, highlighted the turning points in the careers of distinguished Italian talents working in the international film industry and their remarkable journeys. The evening was a deep dive into how these professionals have maintained their ‘Italianess’ pride and artistic taste across their global experiences. From heads of departments like Hair & Make Up, Film Scores Composition, Scene Artists, to Special Effects, it was fascinating to learn about the behind-the-scenes magic that brings award-winning Films and TV series to life.
