About us
Led by Liverpool Convention Bureau and working in partnership with ACC Liverpool and Marketing Liverpool, Club Liverpool unites and supports professionals and academics to secure and host international conferences and events here, to boost our business tourism industry and local economy during our recovery period and beyond, and to bring thought leadership to the City Region increases our investment potential for the future. Have you considered bidding to bring a conference to Liverpool but struggled with the time to dedicate to it? Is there a regular conference in your industry, membership or association which would fit well with Liverpool? We are here to help. We offer our members – Ambassadors – free advice and we will support you to bid for and host events in the city, as well as providing the opportunity to network with other influential people in the same position. This support is available whether you are considering bidding for a meeting for 50 or a conference for 5,000 people. We'd love to hear from you, talk through your ideas and see how you can make an impact. Ambassadors are required to influence the decision making process of a specific event or be the lead on an event staged in Liverpool. To help spread the word and encourage new members we ask members to promote Club Liverpool to their colleagues, mention being a Club Liverpool Ambassador on email sign off and LinkedIn profile and attend networking events. We now have 280 ambassadors signed up to our programme from a diverse range of sectors and specialisms. If you need facts and figures about Liverpool City Region, images to use in publications or Liverpool films to share, we have it all on our site to use to for free.

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 I am thrilled to announce that IPAC'29, the world’s largest and most prestigious conference on particle accelerator R&D, will be coming to Liverpool, UK, in May 2029! Yesterday in Deauville, France, the International Organizing Committee selected our proposal to host IPAC'29 in Liverpool, overcoming strong competition from Poland, Spain, and Switzerland. A really proud moment for our city and team! As the birthplace of particle accelerators, the North-West will proudly welcome accelerators "home." This global event will bring world-class science into our vibrant city, showcasing cutting-edge innovations and their vital role in fundamental research and societal applications. Accompanied by an inspiring outreach program, IPAC'29 will engage the public across Liverpool and the North-West, highlighting the transformative impact of accelerators. The UK accelerator community will be behind this flagship event and we aim to support the city and region's ambitious growth plans, while celebrating our rich scientific heritage. We are delighted to be welcoming delegates to the 62nd European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology, taking place at ACC Liverpool 16-18 November. Big thanks to MEHUL DATTANI for all his hard work over the years in bringing this event to Liverpool! The 14th Annual Scientific Meeting of BIARGS Robotic Gynaecological Surgeons is also taking place from tomorrow at the Museum of Liverpool.
