It was fantastic to welcome guests to Newport Tramshed Tech this morning for our AI Big Breakfast Roadshow. We started the day with an introduction to AI and demo from Marco Oliver of Configur It was then great to have John Spindler from Twin Path Ventures host a panel discussion where he was joined by: Stable AI Wales Foresight Group JURNYON Some great points of discussion from start ups looking to acquire clients and secure investment, whilst also gaining valuable insight from an investors perspective on what they look for when investing into tech. Rounding the event off with some great networking and discussing future collaboration opportunities across the Welsh tech ecosystem for the AI and emerging tech vertical. A final shout out to the amazing Lisa Bagley from our industries team in supporting the roadshow coming to Wales.

A big part of our mission at Configur is to improve data literacy and controlled AI adoption across business...and what better way to prepare for he future than teaching children AI prompting. Barclays Eagle Labs and Tramshed Tech hosted a fantastic morning on Monday for business owners, professionals and their children to experience the fun side of some of the businesses in the Welsh Eco system. What did we do...we taught them to prompt and generate their own AI generated monster. I've included a small sample of them below and let me know if you can spot the adult/founder that got involved...George Bellwood ...also there's a Cardiff Devils Ice Hockey Club fan in the mix...
