About us
Daisy Chain’s mission is to support and empower autistic and neurodivergent individuals through the provision of holistic person-centred services, whilst promoting training, wellbeing, inclusion and acceptance regionally and nationwide. Initially launched as a community initiative for autistic children and young people in 2003, the charity has evolved significantly, and now also provides support for adults. Daisy Chain day centre is based on a 5.5-acre site offering state-of-the-art facilities and animal therapy. The charity also provides community outreach services across the Tees Valley and telephone and virtual support nationally. The organisation continues to strive forwards in developing new, needs-based services, expanding service offer, and campaigning for change and acceptance in wider society. A heartfelt thank you to Mitsubishi Chemical Group at the Cassel site for their incredible generosity in raising an amazing £1,000 for Daisy Chain. Your kindness and hard work will make a real difference to local #autistic and #neurodivergent families, and we couldn’t be more grateful! It was a pleasure meeting Marc and showing him around our site and facilities here in Norton. Mitsubishi’s commitment to supporting local charities is truly inspiring, and it’s clear they care deeply about giving back to the community that means so much to their employees. Daisy Chain is honoured to have been chosen for this donation. Thank you for helping us continue our vital, life-changing work. 💙
