As part of a Year 12 Taster Day at Limavady Grammar School, we facilitated another Meet the GEMs event. This enabled young people, who were interested in finding out more about engineering, to talk to process engineers, mechanical engineers, product designers and chemical engineers in an informal session. Engineering is such a vast subject area that events like this are really enjoyable while also sparking further interest and enabling questions to be asked and answered.
