Last Friday, we wrapped up a remarkable year with our Annual Dinner at Thingtrax. The evening was filled with engaging sessions, great food, and team bonding, making it a perfect way to celebrate our successes.   On a personal note, I am humbled and honored to have received the 'AI Pathfinder Award' for my work in exploring and developing new AI use-cases. This recognition wouldn't have been possible without the collaborative spirit and support of my amazing team at Thingtrax!   All thanks to Imran & Amna for this remarkable event!   #AI #Innovation #ComputerVision #Teamwork #Celebration

Guess who just got labeled a "visionary innovator" for our computer vision work at Thingtrax? 🤓 Oops, it's me - detected with 99.9% confidence score (though my mom would claim 100%)! Jokes aside, I'm truly humbled by this recognition. It's amazing what happens when you combine brilliant minds, cutting-edge tech, and a shared mission to revolutionize manufacturing. To my Thingtrax family - this one's for all of us. Heartfelt thanks to our CTO Imran Shafqat and our HR Amna for organizing an incredible Annual Dinner 2024. Now, back to teaching machines to see better than my grandmother without her glasses! :p P.S. My face in the celebration photo suggests I might need to adjust my model's attention weights... currently showing a strong bias towards prawns! 🦐 #Thingtrax #Manufacturing #Innovation #ComputerVision #AI #Automation

✨ An Unforgettable Night at Our First Annual Company Dinner! ✨ This weekend, I had the honor of attending Thingtrax very first Annual Company Dinner, and it was truly a night to remember! 🎉 The evening was extra special for me as I had the chance to host the event with incredible co-hosts. Being part of the energy and excitement on stage was an absolute blast! 🎤 A highlight of the night was receiving the Customer Care Champion Award 🏆. After two years of dedication and learning, being recognized for my efforts was a moment of immense pride. This award reflects the journey so far—a mix of challenges, growth, and milestones that motivate me to aim even higher. The event was a perfect blend of celebration, laughter, and connection. Here’s to more achievements, memorable moments, and shared successes ahead! 🥂 #FirstAward #CustomerCareChampion #CompanyDinner #TeamCelebration

EPW's are on the rise..... In the first half of 2024, European product recalls in the food and beverage sector rose by 6.3%, contributing to a total of 7,011 recalls across key industries. This surge indicates that 2024 is on track to set a decade-high record for product recalls. These cases highlight the critical importance of rigorous quality control, automated label verification and proactive risk management in the food and beverage industry to safeguard consumer health and maintain trust.

Leading figures in industrial innovation and policy convened at the Austria 4.0 Summit in Tyrol, organised by Plattform Industrie 4.0 Österreich to discuss the transformative potential of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Each year, the conference spotlights a specific country to draw valuable insights, this year’s focus being lessons learned from the United Kingdom. Thingtrax were invited to join the UK Delegation by the British Embassy Vienna to showcase best practices and innovation from the UK’s advanced manufacturing and digital transformation sectors. After opening remarks from Chris Barton, His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for Europe, Rich Clayton presented our Manufacturing Performance Platform, highlighting the capabilities available for both data capture and user engagement throughout every level of an organisation: The benefits of Industry 4.0 can only be realised by empowering users to engage and act on data driven insights was a key theme on the day. After highlighting our latest advances with Vision AI, we then participated in a panel discussion - fantastically moderated by Bronwen Moore - on The Fourth Industrial revolution, alongside experts from the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM), University of Cambridge, High Value Manufacturing Catapult, and Digitalnauts 🚀. Thanks to everyone involved for an inspiring and thought provoking event.
