getUBetter is a Digital Health London alumnus and current NHS Innovation Accelerator company featured in the NHSX MSK Digital Playbook. The evidence based and CE marked 'Digital MSK Self-Management Platform' for all common MSK conditions and women’s pelvic health is now available across 16 Integrated Care System to a total eligible population of 17M+ people. The getUBetter platform helps Integrated Care Systems, Health Boards and other Health Economies to support self-management across their entire care pathway. It provides people with support 24 hours a day 365 days a year taking them through their recovery day by day and providing them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to self-manage. Support is provided through triage, advice, exercises, outcome measures, safety netting and referral when necessary. The getUBetter digital self-management pathways are locally configured to each place within a health system and are made available to people wherever they connect with the system e.g., GP practice, urgent care, pharmacy, or physiotherapy. getUBetter supports patients through their local self-management journey across the entire care pathway, automates referral when needed and provides digitally enabled support alongside existing services. getUBetter has been recognised nationally as a leading innovator and 'NHSx MSK Digital Playbook' Case Study evidencing a 4:1 return on investment for providers, for every £1 spent, getUBetter saves £4.20. The mission of getUBetter is to provide true local self-management support, help patients to trust their recovery and have the confidence to use less healthcare resource.

An economic evaluation conducted by Health Innovation Network South London (HIN) highlighted the scale of the burden of #BackPain, and the possible return on investment that can be achieved by deploying digital self-management tools. Our new hand pathway fhas gone live across NHS Birmingham and Solihull, Frimley Health and Care Integrated Care System, as well as Wandsworth, Kingston, Richmond, and Croydon (South West London Integrated Care System.) Their patients now have access to digital self-management support for all common #MSK injuries and conditions of the hand. Nonspecific hand and wrist pain has a prevalence of around 10% in the general population and can have a significant impact on everyday life and quality of life.
