The action plan offers a roadmap designed to bolster the economic vitality and resilience of our community, with key objectives including: -Supporting our local businesses to grow, attract jobs and investment  -Tackling inequalities  -Supporting the transition to net zero The plan has been developed through comprehensive research, stakeholder engagement, and a deep understanding of the unique strengths and needs of Perth and Kinross. Invest in Perth Business Bulletin Thursday 20th February This month's bulletin highlights Scone Palace and Perth Racecourse as the new venue of the Perthshire Horse Trials. The inaugural Scone Palace International Horse Trials will be held in the historic grounds of the iconic venue in August 2025 and is expected to welcome 45,000 people. There is also the opportunity for residents and stakeholders to provide feedback on Perth & Kinross Council's draft Economic Action Plan (2025-2030) published this week. The action plan offers a roadmap designed to bolster the economic vitality and resilience of our community and is open for consultation until the 16th March. PKC has approved a motion to begin early engagement on the possibility of a Perth and Kinross Visitor Levy Scheme, with a view to allowing elected members to make a decision informed by local feedback at the end of 2025. A number of workshop opportunities are available for businesses from our partners at Business Gateway Tayside and GrowBiz Scotland - rural enterprise support as well as an ask to complete the Employer Support Survey from our colleagues in the Skills and Employment Team.
