Hear hear! Massive shout out to Harry and Jo who were shortlisted for Adding Social Value. And congratulations to all the winners 👏👏👏
Some of the AKG / Jobs 22 team spent the day at the Employment Related Services Association (ERSA) conference yesterday, hearing about the future direction of travel of the employment support sector and engaging with colleagues. The day was topped off with the annual ERSA Awards, where significant contributions from across the sector were recognised. I was delighted that Haroon Ghalib FIEP and Joanne Van AIEP were shortlisted as finalists in the ‘Adding Social Value’ award, in recognition of the incredible work they do to support our local communities. Whilst they didn’t win this time, I wanted to take the opportunity again to congratulate them on their worthy recognition. Congratulations to all the finalists and winners, and well done to Elizabeth Taylor and the ERSA team for putting on another great event. #ERSAConf24 #WorkingForBetterWork #Employment #Support

🌟 From Challenges to Confidence: Anatolij’s Inspiring Journey 🌟 When Anatolij joined the Restart Scheme, he faced significant barriers, including health challenges and limited English skills. But through the Jobs 22 community garden project, he found a sanctuary for healing, connection, and personal growth. With the support of his Employment Coaches and his own determination, Anatolij transformed the garden—and himself. He developed new skills, built confidence, and recently secured a job offer. 💪 💬 As Sarah Clarke, Employment Coach, shared: “He’s progressed massively... he feels that he’s got purpose now.” 🌱 See comment to read Anatolij’s full story... #MoreThanJustAJob #ParticipantSuccess #Jobs22 #TransformingLives

🚀 Exciting news! Jobs 22 has been awarded a new contract to deliver the Destination Work programme, supporting economically inactive residents across Nuneaton and Bedworth, Rugby, Warwick, and Stratford-on-Avon council areas. This initiative, commissioned by Warwickshire Skills Hub and funded through the UK Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund, will provide personalised employment support to 172 residents aged 25 to 67. By working closely with our local delivery partners - PET-Xi Training and the Coventry & Warwickshire CDA - we’ll offer employability skills training, job clubs, and 1-2-1 guidance to help participants move closer to meaningful employment. We're excited to align this work with our existing programmes in Warwickshire, such as the Restart Scheme, and look forward to empowering more people towards brighter futures! 💼✨ #EmploymentSupport #UKSPF #Warwickshire #SkillsDevelopment #Jobs22

🌟 What a wonderful review to receive! 🌟 On #WorldKindnessDay, we want to acknowledge the excellent work that our Employment Coaches are delivering day in, day out. At Jobs 22, we are incredibly proud of our dedicated Employment Coaches who go above and beyond to make a real difference in people’s lives. Feedback like this reminds us of the incredible impact they have each day. Here’s Brenna's recent 5-star Trustpilot review for our Employment Coach, Zoe Malin, based in Lichfield: “After being out of regular work for almost 7 years, due to raising a young family, I had been finding it extremely difficult to find a job that I would be happy in long term, and this was causing me a lot of stress. I’d started applying for jobs I had no interest in, but my coach, Zoe Malin, was aware of my goals and aspirations. She took the time to learn about me, my life, my priorities. Not only has she been really understanding and supportive, but she also went above and beyond and she managed to help me find a role that would suit me perfectly, and which I am so looking forward to starting!! Zoe was always accommodating, especially when bringing my two young children to appointments with me. I am so grateful for her support!” Zoe, and all our coaches, are here to support individuals with empathy and expertise, ensuring everyone feels valued and supported. Thank you, Brenna, for sharing your journey with us! 🎉 #CustomerFeedback #EmploymentSupport #MakingADifference #MoreThanJustAJob (N.B. consent has been obtained from Brenna to share this)
