We're delighted to share that yesterday, we were announced as the winner of Hospice UK’s Improving Inclusivity Award yesterday at the annual Hospice UK National Conference! 🏆 This special recognition celebrates our dedicated team’s hard work in making sure that everyone in our diverse community knows that Keech is here for them – no matter their background, religion, or ethnicity. We’ve identified gaps in how we deliver our services, and have started making real changes, as well as inspiring five other hospices to hire their own Community Connectors, to help make a difference to their local communities too. It was a pleasure to welcome Mohammad Yasin MP for Bedford & Kempston, to our Living Well Centre in Bedford last week! As hospices face growing challenges from rising living costs and reduced funding, we were grateful for the chance to share the important work we’re doing. We also took the chance to highlight the critical need for continued support to ensure our specialist care services remain available to patients and their loved ones.💙💜 #KeechHospiceCare

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Keech Business Club winter afternoon tea today. It was lovely to welcome you all into our hospice and to thank you for your continued support. 💜 💙 A huge thank you to Rob for his presentation on the funding of our hospice, and to Elaine for her talk on the inequalities of accessing end-of-life care in under represented communities. Followed by a tour of the hospice, a delicious afternoon tea and some networking - a great way to celebrate another year of the Keech Business Club!
