Major coup for Liverpool City Region as prestigious science conference 'comes home' #Liverpool is to host the world’s largest particle accelerator conference – beating strong international competition to bring the prestigious event ‘home’, thanks to the collaborative efforts of Professor Carsten P. Welsch, Club Liverpool, ACC Liverpool and Liverpool City Region Combined Authority Head of Business Tourism at Liverpool Convention Bureau, Lisa Owen said “This success continues to highlight the importance of Club Liverpool in driving the city’s business events sector forward. What a wonderful evening at Liverpool Cathedral for the Cheshire and Merseyside NHS Choir annual carol service. Thanks to all who attended this special event, it was great to catch up and get in the Christmas spirit! James Monaghan and the team you did a fantastic job as always. The food was amazing and the venue is just stunning. The Lady Chapel is such a beautiful space 😍

On 4th December we took #LiverpoolCityRegion to London with a little help from our friends, partners, clients and guests! 🤩 We were joined by an incredible line-up of venue, accommodation and supplier partners from across the Liverpool City Region to present the very best our destination has to offer for business and conference events to London based agency, associations and corporate clients. This year's Liverpool Convention Bureau showcase was in The Ned & Ned's Club and we couldn't have picked a more fitting venue. #DidYouKnow The Ned shares some history with Liverpool? The Tapestry room where the dinner was held featured a large tapestry on the walls and was created in 1929 at Lee’s Tapestry Works in Birkenhead. The intricate design pays homage to craftsmanship rooted in the Liverpool City Region. The room’s warmth and elegance made it the perfect setting to celebrate the year’s successes while embracing the festive spirit.
