🌟 Partnering in the mission to bring missing people home 🌟 We’re proud to be part of the Missing People Safeguarding Briefing Network, featured in the Daily Mirror’s Christmas Charity Appeal. The nationwide initiative connects over 2,000 organisations and individuals to support missing people in the most effective and sensitive ways. The network enables public facing workers - like librarians, soup kitchens, shelters and transport staff - to identify and assist vulnerable individuals. Within hours of receiving a briefing, some have helped locate and safeguard missing people, showing how impactful this collaboration can be. At LonSAR, the network provides us with updates. Senior Leadership Team member James Walker explained: “Being part of this network strengthens our readiness and allows us to work more effectively with the police and other partners to safeguard those in need if deployed.” We’re proud to play our part in this vital effort. 👉 Learn more, support, or volunteer at www.lonsar.com/links 👉👉 Read more about the network’s incredible work here: https://lnkd.in/esEdVrYj #JoinTheSearch #LonSAR #MissingPeople #Safeguarding #Community #London

🌘 The Shortest Day: A Tough Time for Many 🌘 Today marks the shortest day of the year, with darkness taking center stage. For some, the long nights are more than just a seasonal change—they’re a struggle with mental health, loneliness, or crisis. At LonSAR, we know the challenges of searching in the dark, both physically and emotionally. Whether navigating London’s parks, riversides, or urban areas, our mission remains the same: to bring hope and support to vulnerable missing individuals and their families. If you or someone you know is struggling, you are not alone. Reach out. Together, we can light the way forward. 👉 Find out more about our work: www.londonsar.com/links #ShortestDay #MentalHealthAwareness #JoinTheSearch #LonSAR #Community

🙏 We are excited to share that we've received a £1,000 donation from the The Worshipful Company of Coopers 🙏 The Worshipful Company of Coopers, one of the oldest livery companies in the City of London, was granted its Royal Charter in 1501 and has a rich history rooted in the ancient craft of cask-making. Today, they focus on charitable giving, education, and preserving history, supporting a range of causes - including ours! We are truly grateful for their support, which will help us continue our work serving the community through search and rescue efforts. Thank you to the Coopers for their belief in our mission! Fundraising is critical for us to be able to fund equipment, training and operational costs to search for missing people across London 🧡 👉 Explore, follow, donate or volunteer at www.londonsar.com/links #jointhesearch #support #donate #volunteer #help #London #community #LonSAR #reunited
