We are here to provide free, non-judgemental support. You don’t need to have already left or be away from home to access our services. You can call or text 11600 or email 116000@missingpeople.org.uk, 7 days a week from 9am-11pm. 🚨 Spotlight in the media: Missing People and London Search and Rescue 🚨 This weekend, the Daily Mirror shone a spotlight on the vital work of two organisations dedicated to supporting the emegency sevices, missing people and those that miss them 🗞️ Missing People provides a lifeline for families and individuals affected by disappearance, ensuring they never face these challenges alone ☎️ At LonSAR, we deploy highly trained volunteers to support the emergency services in locating high-risk missing people across #London 🔍 The story focuses on James, who serves as a trustee for Missing People, and is a member of our leadership team and an operational Search Technician. In our team, he volunteers as a Team Leader, Search Operations Manager, Water First Responder, Medic, Mental Health First Aider (and MHFA England® Instructor), Suicide First Aider and trainee kayak search technician.
